Fiat Qubo Facelift
On sale in its current form since 2008,
the third generation Fiat Qubo has went through a few visual revisions and it's
now available for order across the United Kingdom.
A chunky new front bumper, large,
high-mounted headlights, tweaked tailgate, relocated number plate, bolder Qubo
badge, new skid plate panels for the Trekking versions, new wheel cover and
alloy wheel designs and two fresh colors, called Magnetic Bronze and Azure
Blue, should make a difference on the outside.
In the cabin, the vehicle benefits from
a new steering wheel, black mirror-finish detailing, Uconnect system that works
together with a 5-inch color touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, optional sat-nav,
new instruments and seat upholstery.
The Qubo has room for five adults and a
250-liter boot capacity, which grows to 650 liters with the parcel shelf
removed and to 2,500 liters with the rear seats out of their place. Moreover,
it can carry objects up to 2.5 meters in length with the optional
folding front passenger seat.
Offered in a choice of three trim
levels, the cheapest model is the Pop, priced from £ 11,695 (US$ 15,488), whose
standard equipment list includes body colored bumpers and mirror covers, ESC
with ASR, Hill Holder, electrically adjustable side mirrors, height-adjustable
driver's seat and an armrest.
The Lounge version adds air-con, 5-inch
Uconnect touchscreen, leather trimmed steering wheel and gear shifter, 16-inch
alloy wheels and front fog lights for a £ 1,000 (US$ 1,325) premium. Both models
are powered by the same 1.4-liter petrol engine, with 77 HP, while the more
expensive variant can also be had with the 80 HP 1.3-liter MultiJet II
turbodiesel, from £ 14,695 (US$ 19,460).
