New Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate


The latest addition to the new E-Class family, the Estate, is now available for order. Priced on an average of over 1 percent more over its predecessor when equipped to the same specification, the executive wagon comes with a choice of four engines in its home market, Germany, kicking off from € 48,665.05 (US$ 54,068) in the E 200 specification, with 184 HP and 300 Nm of torque.


For € 50,485.75 (US$ 56,091), the E 220 d becomes available, rated at 194 HP and 400 Nm of torque, and paying almost € 270 (US$ 300) more will bring you the E 250 variant, which develops 211 HP and 350 Nm of torque. The current range-topper, until the E63 AMG hits the market is the 401 HP and 520 Nm of torque AMG E 43 4Matic, priced from € 75,089 (US$ 83,426).


Those interested in checking some of the extra features on the options list, such as the Keyless-Go Package (€ 952/US$ 1,058), Easy-Pack load-securing kit (€ 351.05/US$ 390), Air Body Control (€ 1,785/US$ 1,983), Crosswind Assist (€ 1,082.90/US$ 1,203), Heat Comfort Package (€ 940.10/US$ 1,044), dual 12.3-inch displays (€ 1,011.50/US$ 1,124) and Parking Package (€ 1,773.10/US$ 1,970), among others, will make the E-Class Estate a few thousand more expensive.



Adding up to these is a wide variety of customization options for the interior, along with the AMG Exterior Carbon-Fiber Package II (€ 2,082.50/US$ 2,313) and the 20-inch wheels, in a bichromatic finish (€ 1,071/US$ 1,190). All prices include tax and are available for Germany, where deliveries will commence in October.
