Range Rover Evoque Cabrio by Hamann
While Hamann have been known to tinker
with the Evoque in a much more drastic manner than this, we've actually never
seen the Cabrio version get a makeover.
The German tuner actually just came out
with their wide-body kit for the 2017 Evoque Coupe (3 & 5-door), and those
front & rear wing extensions, together with the side sills, centered
exhaust pipes and lowering kit turned it into a very aggressive compact SUV.
Something had to be done
about the Evoque Cabrio as well, and so DS Automobile took it upon themselves
to make a few modifications that would help the car look more sporty and why
not, more distinguished as well.
The mods, as far as we can tell, include
the slightly altered front grille, the front and rear spoiler extensions,
lowered suspension and the hard to miss 22" Evo Anniversary alloys -
working in contrast with the predominantly white exterior.
Even though we can't say for sure if DS
Automobile applied any of Hamann's ignition map optimizations, we do know that
the German tuner is capable of extracting a maximum 260 PS and 395 Nm of torque out of the Si4 petrol model.
