Skoda Superb vRS

Currently, if you want to buy a vRS performance model from Skoda, the Czech automaker can only sell you one car, the Octavia vRS.

Skoda bosses, however, are considering adding more vRS versions to their range, which would include the Superb and even the Kodiaq SUV, whose performance versions could arrive in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

As for the potential range-topping Superb vRS, like the one portrayed here by Theophilus Chin, it would have to be more formidable than the current Superb flagship, powered by a 280 PS 2.0-liter turbo unit, sending power to all four wheels. The Golf R's 300 PS drivetrain could be a possibility, perhaps with a slight power bump in order to help differentiate the two models.

Such an engine could then be offered exclusively with four-wheel drive in the upcoming Kodiaq SUV as well.
