BMW 520d M Sport
BMW has launched a new variant of the
BMW 5 Series in India – the 520d M Sport. It is priced from INR 54 Lakhs
(ex-showroom Delhi).
The M-Sport variant was previously
exclusive to the more powerful BMW 530d. Now, BMW has introduced the cosmetic
goodness of the M-Sport grade in the more popular 520d variant. For starters,
it gets the M Sport body kit with 18-inch M light alloys, larger air-inlets,
gloss black accents instead of chrome and an M badge on the front wing.
Inside, the 520d M Sport features
power-operated sports seats for driver and passenger, M multi-function steering
wheel, aluminium hexagon interior trim strip and BMW Individual headliner
Anthracite. As standard, it features BMW Navigation system Professional with 3D
maps displayed on a 25.9 cm high resolution screen.
Under the hood, it packs a 1995 cc
TwinPower turbodiesel engine that outputs 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque to the
rear wheels. It is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with steering-mounted
paddle shifters.
