Fiat 500 Pepsi by Garage Italia Customs
Celebrating the 2016 Milan
Design Week, Garage Italia Customs presented stylish city car. Lapo Elkann’s
outfit intended to extend the essence of Pepsi beyond its expected bottle using
the iconic brand’s blue, white and red colors on the 500's exterior and
interior.
The result is using original
street art on both the exterior and interior, including a Pepsi blue film on
the lower part of the car and a tailor-made, digitally printed wrap on the top.
The overall design is complemented by a candy red film, covering parts of the
rims and the original chrome details.
The cabin is described as an
“explosion” of colors that actually come to life when a you place a Pepsi can
into a specific compartment in the center tunnel. A sensor activates the red
DreamLux textile used to cover the headliner and door panel, conducting light
through the optical fiber woven into the material, in order to brighten up the
whole interior.
The car is filled with
Pepsi-related components, including the gear knob, the iconic globe on the head
rests and the the 3D blue Foglizzo leather on the seats created to from a
bubble effect on the surface, just to resemble “the effervescent bubbles of a
refreshing Pepsi”.
