Ford EcoSport Shadow Edition
Ford has launched the Ford EcoSport
Shadow Edition in Australia, a special edition of its compact SUV in the
country. The special edition is made with addition of the Shadow Special
Vehicle Pack to the EcoSport.
The Ford EcoSport Shadow is available in
two exterior body colours, Diamond White and Panther Black. It’s based on the
EcoSport Titanium AT, and features a number of special exterior modifications
such as black painted grille, foglamp bezel surrounds, mirror covers, alloy
wheels and roof rails, black roof cross bar and blacked out headlamps with
signature lights.
The Ford EcoSport Shadow is limited to
100 units, out of which 50 are for Diamond White and 50 are for Panther Black.
The limited-edition model is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine
that produces 109.92 hp and 140 Nm of torque. It’s priced at AU$ 28,090 – AU$ 300 more than the EcoSport Titanium, and
started arriving in showrooms last month.
Ford is also developing the facelifted
Ford EcoSport. The new model will debut at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show in
November and likely go on sale in South America first.
