Ford Focus RS by Mountune
Ford Focus RS owners can now further
enhance the performance of the hot hatch with an official power upgrade
package, co-developed between the Blue Oval's Performance division and
Mountune.
Comprising of a high-performance air
filter, upgraded air re-circulation valve, alloy crossover duct with
high-performance silicone hoses and remapped ECU, Mountune's new performance
upgrade squeezes an additional 25 PS and 40 Nm of torque
from the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, bringing the total output up to 375 PS and 510 Nm of torque.
This translates into an improved naught
to sixty two mile (100 km/h) sprint time by 0.2 seconds (4.5 seconds) over the
standard super hot-hatch, making the Focus RS faster than a Porsche 911 Carrera
with a manual transmission, while top speed remains at 266 km/h.

working with Mountune to unleash even more power from our hot hatchbacks for
dedicated performance enthusiasts. Boosting power to 375 PS launches the
already class-leading Focus RS even further ahead of the field", said Ford
Performance vehicle engineering Manager Tyrone Johnson.
Fully compatible with the automaker's
warranty and priced at £ 899 (US$ 1,190) in the United Kingdom, the power upgrade
requires 1.5 hours of work to be installed and it can be fitted at any
Mountune-appointed Ford dealer.
