Hyundai Grand i10 facelift (Spyshot)
The spy images of the upcoming Hyundai Grand
i10 facelift have surfaced on the interweb recently. The car was spotted on its
usual test run, with the front and rear ends of the car camouflaged. This
suggests a revised front end, with possibly new bumpers, airdam, fog lamps,
hood while the rear hatch may get a few tweaks to refresh the design. The new
alloys are clearly visible and feature the diamond cut design that’s usually
seen in all top spec variants of most Hyundais.
The turn indicators on the
fender, unlike the current Grand i10 with ORVM mounted indicators. The side
profile appears exactly like the current car. Expect the Hyundai Xcent to get a
similar treatment in a few months time.
The facelifted Grand i10 is expected to
get the same set of engines-1.2-litre Kappa 2 petrol and the 1.1-litre U2 CRDi
diesel. Both engines are mated to five-speed manual transmissions. In addition,
the petrol motor comes with an automatic transmission as an option.
The Hyundai Grand i10 competes with the
Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Ford Figo. While the Figo is relatively new, the
Swift is set to be replaced with the next generation Swift.
