Hyundai Grand i10 Independence Edition
Here is a Hyundai Grand i10 Independence
Edition, which is likely to be a one-off example customized by a dealer for a
customer.
The Grand i10 ‘Independence Edition’ is
based on the Grand i10 20th Anniversary Edition, but features large body
graphics finished in the tri-colors of the Indian flag. It also gets a set of
14 inch alloy rims as standard, while the red vinyl on the lower portion of the
side profile is from the Grand i10 20th Anniversary Edition.
As it is based on the Grand i10 20th
Anniversary Edition, the ‘Independence Day Edition’ features a dual tone red
and black interior, fabric upholstery with contrast red stitching and a
6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The example above is powered by a
1.2-liter Dual VTVT four-cylinder engine capable of 83 PS and 11.6 kgm of
torque. The Grand i10 is also available with a 1.1-liter three-cylinder U2 CRDi
unit developing 71 PS and 16.3 kgm. Both are fitted with a 5-speed manual
gearbox as standard, while the petrol variant can also be equipped with a
4-speed automatic.
