Karma Revero

The reborn Karma Automotive will go after the big boys in the segment with its first model: the Revero.

Based on the old Fisker Karma and carrying a few visual updates that will probably go by unnoticed unless you're a true fanatic of the company started by Henrik Fisker, it still carries a solar roof, which "will create enough energy to power the car", as the brand explains.

Now that's a major statement right there, one that we will need to come back to in the future when more data will become available, but for now, Karma explains that "no other vehicle sold in the US has ever offered this capability. Our owners consider our solar roof an important element in our brand identity, and we listened."

Karma Automotive is not quite ready to reveal all of the secrets of the car and is trying to keep us busy by stating that "the badges on each Revero are hand-painted, one at a time. No other car company has ever done this. Consider it a small, but symbolic statement about craftsmanship and individuality."

As a final touch, the automaker will update the infotainment system: "It is simple, intuitive, and beautiful. If you like a 200-page supplement to the owner's manual to describe your infotainment system, look elsewhere."

Karma Automotive should have all the details ready by September 8, when the Revero's public debut has been scheduled to take place in Laguna Beach, California.
