Nissan Titan And Titan XD Single Cab Variants


Nissan Titan squad has expanded the additional of the Single Cab models for both the Titan and Titan XD variations.


The Titan and Titan XD Single Cab can be differentiated on a number of fronts. For starters, the XD is available with a 5.0-liter turbocharged diesel V8 delivering 310 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque alongside a 5.6-liter petrol-powered V8 with 390 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque. The 'regular' Titan Single Cab is available exclusively with the 5.6-liter V8 and in the near future, will welcome a V6 into the range.

Due to the weight the models have lost over the larger Crew Cab models, they have slightly higher payloads and can two a little bit more than previously. The XD Single Cab with the diesel V8 is the daddy of towing, capable of shifting 5,733 kg and 1,016 kg in payload. Meanwhile, the petrol V8 XD has a higher payload at 1,319 kg but suffers in towing capacity, falling to 5,257 kg. Figures for the petrol V8 entry-level Titan Single Cab sit at 875 kg payload and 4,413 kg in towing capacity.


In terms of transmissions, the diesel-powered models utilize a six-speed automatic transmission wile the V8 petrol variants feature a seven-speed automatic transmission. Both models are also available in either 4x4 or 4x2 drive configurations and in two different grade levels, S and SV.
