Pagani Huayra BC
The extremely limited Pagani Huayra BC
is set to make its Southern Hemisphere debut at the World Time Attack Challenge
in Sydney, Australia in mid-October.
First revealed to the public at March's
Geneva Motor Show, the Huayra BC is restricted to just 20 units (in coupe form)
and represents the pinnacle of the Huayra range, with around 789 hp on tap from
its twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine.
During the World Time Attack event, the
car will be displayed in the pit zone on Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th
of October and most excitingly, will hit the track at Sydney Motorsport Park
with Keiichi Tsuchiya behind the wheel.
Known as the 'Drift King', Tsuchiya is
one of Japan's most accomplished racing drivers and has finished on the podium
at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He's therefore the perfect man to push the Huayra
BC to its limits in front of the chanting crowds.
Named after Benny Caiola, the very first
Pagani customer, the Huayra BC is not only more powerful than the standard car
but is also fitted with a suite of new aerodynamic parts to give it
significantly more downforce. What's more, it is also much lighter than the
'normal' model, tipping the scales at a mere 1,218 kg despite
carrying around a massive twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine.
