2017 Kia Rio Cabriolet (render)
Walking out of a dealership with a convertible
supermini isn't that easy these days. There's not much this segment
has to offer in terms of having the wind in your hair and getting to see the
open sky at the touch of a button.
The reason is that the number of prospective buyers
simply does not justify such a project, which would demand a serious
investment. Would Kia then "make a move" with their all-new Rio and
actually build a convertible version?
The right answer would have to be 'no', though if
you're curious what one might look like, here's X-Tomi's take on the all-new
Rio that broke cover earlier this month, ahead of its Paris Auto Show debut.
