2017 Nissan Sentra
Available at US dealers, set to join the lineup from October, Nissan has announced the official
price list of the 2017 Nissan Sentra.
Kicking off the range is the 'S' grade, which
features improved interior quietness thanks to the increased thickness of the
front and rear window glass, and almost double the storage capacity in the
front center console. It starts from US$ 16,990 for the six-speed manual gearbox,
while opting for the Xtronic transmission means paying an extra US$ 1,000.
Powered by the same 1.8-liter engine, mated to the
Xtronic, the SV, SR and SL models will set their future buyers back from US$ 18,790, US$ 19,990 and US$ 21,500, while the latest addition to the
range, the Sentra SR Turbo, can be had from US$ 21,990. The most potent variant
uses a 1.6-liter petrol turbocharged engine that comes straight from the Juke
and offers 188 HP and 240 Nm of torque.
Changes were
made to the steering, suspension and brakes, and drivers are assisted by the
brand's Safety Shield Technologies, which include the Forward Emergency
Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Intelligent Cruise
Control. Depending on the selected model, the Siri Eyes Free voice recognition
becomes available, along with the NissanConnectSM with navigation and mobile
apps, and Bose premium sound system.
