Datsun redi-GO Sport
Datsun has announced that a limited edition redi-GO
‘Sport’ will go on sale on September 29. A teaser has revealed some of the
changes in store.
The redi-GO Sport features a contrasting black stripe running across
the engine hood and roof, gun metal bezel for the grille, a red-painted mesh,
black-painted wheel covers with red accents, and another stripe stickered
across the profile.
The interior could feature
exclusive seat covers, floor carpets and sportier pedals. Features standard in
the top-end redi-GO ‘S’ variant include DRLs, a 2-DIN audio system with AUX and
USB connectivity, while a driver’s airbag is optional.
No upgrades will be made to the powertrain. The
redi-GO Sport will carryover the 799 cc three-cylinder petrol engine capable of
producing 53 hp and 72 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It
is capable of averaging a fuel mileage of 25.17 km/l,
making the redi-GO one of the most fuel-efficient petrol hatchbacks in India.
