Nissan Qashqai, Juke, X-Trail &
Pulsar with Nissan Vision
Nissan is making it easier for its
European customers to get their hands on its latest technologies with the
launch of the Nissan Vision range. The special models feature the company's
Around View Monitor system and other safety technologies – without having to
pony up for other high-priced features.
The Nissan Vision range includes the
Qashqai, Juke and X-Trail crossovers, as well as the Pulsar hatchback. They come with the AVM system that incorporates four
cameras on the outside of the vehicle to display a virtual overhead view of its
surroundings on the NissanConnect dashboard screen.
Also standard on the Vision models are
lane departure warning, moving object detection, emergency forward braking,
blind spot warning, high beam assist, and traffic sign recognition systems.
These are features you might expect to find on luxury automobiles, but the
N-Vision models are based on Nissan's mass-market vehicles in their mid-level
N-Connecta trim that otherwise come with roof rails, upholstery part in leather,
part Alcantara, but not the full options packages with which these safety
systems are often bundled.
