Porsche Cayenne Coupe (Render)
Crossover coupes are gaining popularity,
especially among German automakers. Porsche may or may not
jump on the decidedly unaccommodating bandwagon, but if it does, this is likely
what it would look like.
Rendered by Remco Meulendijk of RM
CarDesign, these speculative images depict a potential Cayenne Coupe. Like the BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe with which it would compete, it
still features four doors (plus the liftgate), but the roofline slopes towards
the back to prioritize the sport at the expense of utility in this vehicle.
If built, the Cayenne coupe's engine
lineup would likely mirror the existing version's fairly closely. On a global
basis, that includes turbocharged and naturally aspirated V6 and V8 gasoline
engines ranging from 300 to 560 horsepower, as well as diesel and plug-in
hybrid versions.
