2017 GMC Sierra HD All Terrain X
This is GMC's limited-edition All Terrain X series. The
Sierra HD All Terrain X is said to be the most off-road-capable truck in the
Sierra HD lineup.
Aside from its 6.0-liter petrol-powered V8, the
Sierra 2500HD crew cab 4WD will also be available with the all-new
next-generation Duramax 6.6-liter V8 turbo-diesel, sending 445 HP and 1,234 Nm to all four wheels.
"The new Sierra HD All Terrain X's powerful
attitude reflects a popular trend in very capable off-road trucks, executed
with a range-topping level of refinement — a combination of attributes GMC has
cultivated for years," said Duncan Aldred, VP of GMC sales & marketing.
"And with the new, available Duramax 6.6L, this truck more than matches
its bold good looks with true professional-grade capability."
Visually, the All Terrain X stands out thanks to its
18" black-painted aluminum wheels, 275/65R18 Goodyear Duratrac MT-rated
tires, unique body-color grille surround for the All Terrain insert, body-color
door handles and body side moldings, Black power-adjustable heated and
power-folding mirrors with integrated turn signals, LED rear guidance lamps and
LED amber clearance lamps, black belt moldings, 4" black sport side steps,
and a black sport bar mounted in the bed.
Sierra HD customers will be able to order the new
version in either Black Onyx or Summer White, with optional equipment such as a
spray-on bedliner, Front & Rear Park Assist, Z71 off-road suspension
package, underbody shielding, heated steering wheel and all-weather floor
liners also available.
In terms of on-board tech, the 2017 Sierra 2500HD
All Terrain X also features GMC IntelliLink with an 8" color touchscreen,
Teen Driver, remote-locking tailgate, remote starting system, Rear Vision
Camera, adjustable pedals, leather-appointed seats, heated front seats and
wireless charging.
