2017 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso RC
There are no detailed
specifications for the new Turismo Veloce, but we can expect it at least to be
powered by the same three-cylinder, 798 cc engine that generates 110 hp at
10,000 rpm.
This would be modified to meet Euro 4
emission regulations, so expect some new ECU tune-up and at least a beefier
catalytic convertor. Other amenities include semi-active front and rear Sachs
suspension, eight-setting traction control with three-level modes - Tourism,
Sport, and Rain.
Even cooler than that is the new RC version, which
comes with a racing-inspired color setup in red, white and green accents. Both
models will be officially unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, in around
three weeks. So stick around for more details as soon as they are available.
Turismo Veloce is Italian for Fast Tourer, so the
name is pretty self-explanatory, aside from the inherent cool factor of any
bike with an Italian name. The bike is derived from the Brutale 800 but has
received a lot of features which have changed the game noticeably. The Lusso
suffix, which is the equivalent of Luxury speaks about high-tech helping you
ride better, in more comfortable conditions and for a longer time, and not the
sum of blingy materials and useless stuff.
