2018 Opel Corsa Sedan
we're looking at a four-door sedan of Opel Corsa, which will likely travel
across multiple continents under the GM umbrella.
While certain visual cues might point to this car
being a Buick, we can definitely look past the integrated waterfall grille
shown here and understand that it may be nothing more than a clever disguise.
Visually, aside from the grille, the front bumper is
also different to the one shown on the recently scooped 2018 Corsa hatchback,
though it's the new rear end that obviously sets this sedan model apart. With
four doors and a much larger boot at its disposal, the 2018 Corsa will compete
with rivals such as the Ford Fiesta sedan or the Fiat Siena in select markets.
Underneath, we'll find GM's new G2SC Gamma Platform,
which will also underpin the next-generation Chevrolet Sonic and Bolt EV. As
for powertrains and on-board tech, it's rumored that the Corsa Sedan will end
up utilizing some of the 5-door model's three and four-cylinder engines, as
well as some new connectivity and active safety systems borrowed from its
larger Opel Astra sibling.
