Chevrolet Silverado HD Concept by Carhartt (2016 SEMA)

US-based clothing company Carhartt Inc. is holding hands with General Motors at this year's SEMA Show, where it will display a special Chevrolet Silverado HD.

Based on the 2017MY Silverado that uses a revised Duramax V8 turbodiesel engine developing 445 horsepower and 1,234 Nm of torque, mated to an Allison transmission and featuring the Z71 kit, the SEMA truck is all about show and tell, with a special paint, gold pinstripes, nickel accents and custom 20-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in Firestone Destination M/T tires.

Inside, the workhorse has leather on the seats, door panels and console, with a triple-stitch, just like the 127-year old company's jacket, special logos embossed onto the floor liners and headrests, Silverado badges and some other features that highlight the pickup's unique character.

Some of the practical equipment found on the Carhartt Chevrolet Silverado HD includes the LED light bar at the front, a semi-custom toolbox and electric outlets in the bed, spray-in bedliner, front and rear tow hooks, GearOn cargo accessories, and a wireless external trailering camera system.
