Ford Focus and Fiesta (2016 SEMA)
Before SEMA 2016 kicks off on November 1, Ford is
previewing six modified Fiesta ST, Focus ST and Focus RS models that will be on
display at the event.
First off the bat is a widebody Fiesta ST, which has
been installed with a new turbocharger kit, COBB Accessport V3 and a new
exhaust system to significantly increase horsepower from the 1.6-liter engine.
Additionally, the car includes a Mountune limited-slip differential, JRI
coilovers, Wilwood six-piston brakes, distinctive wheels, a special body kit
and an overhauled interior.
Next up is a black and red Focus ST outfitted with
retro door graphics, a Mishimoto Performance air intake, new intercooler, VMS
Racing dual camber catch can, custom tune, Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust,
coilovers and forged 19-inch wheels with Continental rubber.
A second Fiesta ST has also been prepared with a
more subtle and refined exterior design yet still has numerous performance
modifications including a front mount intercooler, coilovers and ADV.1 wheels.
Also on the cards is a customized Focus RS painted
grey with bright orange accents. It has a beefed up turbocharger from
BorgWarner, intercooler, cold air intake, methanol injection, Wavetrac front
differential and 1-piece carbon fiber driveshaft. Like the others, it also has
coilover suspension, aftermarket wheels and some interior touches.
The most impressive of them all is a track-themed
Focus RS from Roush Performance. Its engine has been extensively modified and
now delivers 500 hp and is complemented with a host of aerodynamic changes
including the fitment of a front splitter, new rear wing, extended side skirts
and enlarged air intakes.
Lastly will be another Focus RS adorned
in a special racing livery and fitted with H&R coilovers, O.Z Racing wheels
and a front splitter and side skirts from Triple R Composites.
