Mercedes Benz GLA 220d Activity Edition
Mercedes Benz India has announced the launch of
a special edition GLA Class, called the Activity Edition, just ahead of the
2016 festive season. Mercedes Benz GLA 220d Activity Edition comes at a
starting price of INR 38.51 lakh, ex-showroom, Pune.
Currently, the Mercedes Benz GLA Class variants are
offered with 200 CDI (starts from INR 33.2 lakh) and 200 (starts from INR 35.34
lakh) trims. These are powered by 2.2 liter diesel and 2.0 liter petrol engine
option respectively. Power output stands at 134 hp / 300 Nm and 181 hp / 300
Nm.
The new GLA Activity Edition 220d is powered by the
same 2.2 liter diesel engine, but delivers 168 hp and 350 Nm. Mated to a 7
speed DCT automatic gearbox which sends power to all four wheels, it does a
0-100 km/h in just 7.7 seconds (the 200 CDI does the same in 10 seconds).
In addition to a more powerful engine, the new GLA
Activity Edition also gets new 8” media display with Smartphone Integration
package and Keyless GO Starting function. In addition to this, it gets EASY
PACK Tailgate, Rain sensing wipers, stowage package and load compartment
package with multiple storage facilities equipped along with a 12 V socket in
the boot.
