Suzuki V-Strom 250


The 14th China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition being held from 20th to 23rd October 2016 has the new Suzuki DL250 (V-Strom 250) quarter liter tourer concept on display.

Suzuki V-Strom 250 sports a 248cc DOHC twin cylinder, liquid cooled engine generating 25 PS peak power at 8,000 rpm and 23.4 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm mated to a 6 speed gearbox. Suzuki claims that the engine is tuned to allow better performance and high fuel efficiency.


Built as an entry level adventure bike, the Suzuki V-Strom 250 gets distinctive V-Strom badging and rugged bodywork. It receives alloy wheels and telescopic suspension in the front while headlight gains a spherical design while other on board features include a conventional fork and single front brake caliper along with ABS.

The Suzuki V-Strom measures 2085 mm in length, 740 mm in width and 1110 mm in height. It sits on a 1430 mm wheelbase and has seat height of 790 mm. Dry weight stands at 178 kgs while it sports a fuel tank with 15 liter capacity.
