2013 TEM01
The most powerful
electric motorcycle ever with 400 hp, the TEM01 had been presented at the 2013 Scandinavian Motor Show.
It is described by its
creator Matija Sever from Slovenia as “the next step in custom motorcycles for small-scale
production”. The electric motor delivers 400 hp and 530 Nm of torque. No
information is available on the battery, range or weight, just that the bike
has regenerative brakes.
Your fingerprint will
start the beast. A touch-screen displays all the necessary information, and LCD
ambiance lighting gives the TEM01 a unique look.
Could this be the
beginning of a trend, with electric motors replacing V-twins on custom bikes?
It would certainly make sense, with the massive torque. But is the market ready
for a silent custom bike?
