2017 Aprilia RS125 and Tuono 125
Aprilia has unveiled the 2017 RS4 125, which
will now be called as RS125 at the 2016 EICMA Show. The RS125 is powered by 124cc DOHC single cylinder, four stroke engine
with EFI. Additional equipment includes a USB port to charge your phones while
riding, and a portable holder for 6 inch device.
The new Aprilia Tuono 125 is also
being showcased. This marks five years since the four-stroke RS4 125 sportsbike
was launched. The new Tuono 125 is powered by the same 124cc DOHC single
cylinder, four stroke engine with EFI. It comes ready to be fitted with
Aprilia’s Quick Shift system which was also seen on board the Aprilia Tuono V4
1100.
Aprilia Tuono 125 is Euro4 compliant. It receives
some standard safety features such as ABS while it can be connect to a
smartphone via an AMP ECU system offering all necessary information on the
smartphone. It also gets a multifunction display which can be controlled via
controls on handle-bars while it gets a lap timer with memory for upto 20 laps.
The Tuono 125 is seen with an aluminum chassis and brake system to include a
300mm steel disc in the front and 220mm disc at the rear. It offers comfortable
seating for both rider and passenger and boasts of a light structure with high
rigidity. Pricing and other details will be announced in due course.
