2017 Bajaj Pulsar 180
Rajiv Bajaj has already confirmed that the entire Pulsar range is
up for a thorough update. After the 2017 Pulsar 220F leaked, it is now turn of
the 2017 Pulsar 180.
The new 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 180 continues with the same design as before, with minor changes. These include
revised instrument cluster with blue backlight (instead of orange as seen in
the older P180), matte finish on the clip-on handlebars (silver finish in the
older P180).
The new Bajaj Pulsar 180 also gets
revised seats cushion, which is softer than the current one. One of the biggest
addition is that of a rear disc brake. This will definitely make the braking
performance of the bike.
One
thing is confirmed that the new Pulsar 180 is BSIV compliant. What this means
is that the new Pulsar is much more fuel efficient than before. The engine is
also a tad bit more responsive and accelerates much better than before.
Existing Pulsar 180 delivers 17.02 bhp at
8500 rpm and 14.22 Nm torque at 6500 rpm. Though its clear that the new
Pulsar is more powerful than the older one, it is yet not clear by how much.
