2017 Honda Pilot
Honda Pilot is entering its second
model year in the market armed with a series of interior updates. The 2017
Honda Pilot now comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a new
fingerprint-resistant touchscreen and an expanded interior color palette.
Under the bonnet there’s a 3.5-litre i-VTEC V6
petrol that produces 280 hp and 355 Nm of peak torque. Honda offers a
choice of two transmissions; a six-speed automatic or a nine-speed automatic
gearbox on upper trim levels. Customers are able to choose between 2WD and AWD
versions.
All Pilot models come with Honda’s Intelligent
Terrain Management System, offering different driving modes for both the AWD
and the 2WD versions. The system basically adjusts the drive-by-wire map,
transmission shift map, Vehicle Stability Assist™ and i-VTM4 torque
distribution for AWD-equipped models for optimal performance in a variety of
road or surface conditions.
Pricing for the 2017 Honda Pilot kicks off at Us$ 30,595 for the 2WD LX model, with the AWD LX costing from US$ 32,395.
