2017 Mini Countryman, Clubman and Seven (USA)
Getting ready to celebrate its world debut at the
2016 LA Auto Show, the new MINI Countryman has become more mature with the
second generation.
The brand's premium model is larger than its
predecessor, comes with a raised seating position and is capable of carrying up
to five passengers. It also benefits from the latest equipment such as the LED
headlamps, fold-out Picnic Bench, Find Mate and navigation system that works
together with an 8.8-inch color display.
The 2017 MINI Countryman is
powered by two petrol engines from the latest generation, featuring MINI
TwinPower Turbo Technology. Both units can be combined with the ALL4 all-wheel
drive system. The vehicle will also gain a plug-in hybrid - the
MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4, which will join the lineup later on, promising
an all-electric range of up to 40 km.
The new
MINI John Cooper Works Clubman is now getting ready to take a trip to the City
of Angels, ahead of its on-sale date scheduled for this December, when it will
set its future customers back for at least US$ 35,950. The car benefits from an
enhanced chassis and combines a 2.0-liter TwinPower engine, producing 228 HP and 350 Nm of torque with the ALL4 AWD system.
Billed as "the latest attraction in the small
car segment", the MINI Seven will also be on display in Los Angeles, with
its exclusive design that highlights its British origins, a contrasting paint
finish for the roof and side mirror casings, hood stripes, deco elements, and
17-inch light alloy wheels in two-tone design, joined by the sports seats in
fabric-leather combo, which have been created especially for it.
