2017 Suzuki Burgman 400
Suzuki has updated its Burgman 400 scooter, the
middle model in the Burgman range, with a host of changes designed to improve
its looks and performance. The 2017 Burgman 400 has been given more current
styling courtesy of a slimmer, sharper design at both ends, new dual LED
headlights, tail light and indicators.
Suzuki says the Burgman 400’s comfort and utility
have been improved thanks to a 20 mm thicker seat, an updated multi-function
display with Eco-drive indicator and cut-away footboards. It’s also got a new
upswept screen too.
The liquid-cooled four-stroke single cylinder 399 cc
engine has been updated with a new airbox for improved low- to mid-range torque
and it’s gained an iridium spark plug.
Braking performance has also been looked at and
Burgman 400 now uses a new Nissin ABS module that Suzuki says saves almost 750 gr in weight.
Other changes include a new 15 inch front wheel
which replaces the 14 inch wheel on the current/outgoing model, plus increased
frame rigidity for improved handling.
