2018 Chevrolet Equinox and Volt (spy shot)
Chevrolet probably has the most diverse
lineup, producing everything from heavy-duty pickups and commodious SUVs to
sleek sports cars and economical hybrids. Just look at some of the vehicles the
Bowtie brand alone been spotted testing recently.
Spotted by our man Brett in the
Rocky Mountains of Colorado are the new Chevy
Volt and Equinox.
The new Volt has been out for well over a year now,
so as sleek and futuristic as it may look, it's hardly a surprise to see one
out and about. But the appearance of camouflage on the front and rear ends of
one of these second-gen models makes us wonder if GM has something fresh in
store for the plug-in hybrid.
What caught our attention more is the
presence of what appear to be several heavily disguised crossovers of the new
2018 Chevy Equinox. The automaker's mid-range crossover slots between the
smaller Trax and larger Traverse, and was revealed in its third iteration just
this past September.
GM doesn't appear to have quite finished with
developing the model, however. So it's still putting it through the gauntlet of
tests – particularly for emissions – still well-camouflaged from our prying
eyes.
