Fiat 124 Coupe (render)
Fiat may be busy celebrating the 124 Spider's 50th
anniversary these days, but the roadster doesn’t exactly benefit from all that
heritage.
It can be considered the Italian cousin of
the Mazda MX-5, with which it shares the same underpinnings, being
differentiated only by a few exterior adjustments, a recalibrated steering and
a new engine, which is made locally and then shipped to Japan for assembly.
However, while in the real world the Fiat 124 Spider
doesn’t pose a threat for any Porsche model, in Fantasy Land the car has become
a true killer, with the help of RainPrisk, who has transformed it into a coupe,
with a lowered roof line, and fitted it with carbon fiber add-ons, a sportier
suspension, larger wheels and side exhaust pipes.
Zoom in and you will notice the V8 badge on the
front fender, suggesting that the usual 1.4-liter turbocharged four-banger has
been replaced by a true monster.
