Fiat Toro 2.4 Flex AT9
Fiat Brazil officially launches the new version
with flex engine for the Fiat Toro, which now count on the
Tigershark 2.4 Multiair unit of 186 horsepower and 24.8 Kg-m of torque, coupled
with 9-speed automatic transmission gears.
This is the Toro Freedom Flex 2.4, which also
includes start-stop system and
alternator with electronic management.
Toro 2.4 Flex has
the same items Toro 1.8 Flex. The engine, imported from Chrysler, is an evolution
that was adopted at Compass but with Multiair head, which uses
electro-hydraulic control of the inlet valves.
According to Fiat, Toro Flex 2.4 can accelerates from 0
to 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds to reach a top speed of 200 km/h. According
INMETRO data, consumption in the city is 5.9 l/100km with ethanol and 8.6 l/100km gasoline. On the road, average rise to 7.4 l/100km and 10.8 l/100km,
respectively.
The Fiat Toro with engine 2.4 Flex and automatic
transmission was the responds to the failure of critical 1.8 flex engine.
