IVECO GranClass
The Iveco bus division ends the sale of 628 units of
GranClass to the Minas Gerais government. The purchase was possible due to the
adhesion to the minutes of the National Fund for Development by Education
(FNDE). It will be the biggest selling Iveco Bus in the year. The delivery of
the vehicles, Medium Rural School Bus category (ORE 2), will be carried out
until the end of 2016.
The GranClass is the only model in the category with
automatic differential locking device. According to Iveco, the system
facilitates the transposition of bogs without the intervention of the driver.
The 150S21, in the ORE 2 version, has a maximum capacity of 48 students. The
bus has lifts for accessibility, a wheelchair, wide door with anti-crushing
device and emergency exit, backpack on the roof and nets on the back of the
seats for accommodation of school material.
The list of standard items comes complete with
sensors and rear camera, AM/FM sound system, electronic tachograph, chassis
with raised and reinforced suspension, mixed-use tires, spare wheel with
toolbox, front and rear balance reduction And the N45 engine, from FPT
Industrial, capable of generating maximum power of 206 hp.
