Toyota 86 Solar Orange Limited
Toyota has reveals Toyota 86 Solar Orange Limited Edition, based on the
mid-spec GT variant, goes on sale in Japan on March 10, with the order books
opening on January 31.
Prices are 3,251,880 yen with the
six-speed manual gearbox, and 3,318,840 yen with the automatic.
That’s 270,000 yen more expensive than the GT, and for that you get
the searing orange paint job, as well as orange stitching on the steering wheel
and seats. Also included are Grand Luxe fabric dashboard trim, Alcantara
upholstery and heated seats, items from the top GT Limited.
Toyota has also added a High Performance Package for
the GT Limited, which adds Brembo brakes, Sachs Performance dampers and unique
17-inch alloy wheels. These are basically the same goodies as fitted on the
recently-launched BRZ GT in Japan, as well as the BRZ Performance Package sold
in the United States.
With the High Performance Package, prices for the GT
Limited soar an extra 210,600 yen to 3,394,440 yen for
the manual model and 3,461,400 yen for the auto. Solar Orange Limited
buyers can also specify the High Performance Package, as well as the GT
Limited’s pedestal rear wing and front underbody cover as options.
