Vanmoof
The Vanmoof bikes with
their quirky design and marketing have decided to go electric in 2014. The
Vanmoof Electrified has a 250 Watt electric motor placed in the front wheel,
powered by a 209 Wh battery, the range is announced between 30 and 60 km for a
full charge in 3 hours on a standard outlet.
Vanmoof’s electric bike
weighs 19 kg thanks to its anodized aluminum frame which houses a monitor into
the upper tube.
But the main advantage of
this Vanmoof Electrified is its integrated GPS to locate the bike any time. The
brand Vanmoof launched in 2009 won a Red Dot and Eurobike award with their
previous bikes, this time, it has been nominated by the RAI for its latest
creation.
The transmission
(two-speed automatic) is made via a chain while two disc brakes take care of
braking. Available from 1st July 2014 at a price of € 2.248, it can be
accessorized with baskets and / or racks front and rear. Reservations are open!
