2017 Ford Fiesta WRC by M-Sport
M-Sport has just unveiled its
2017 Ford Fiesta WRC racer. As with all other entrants for the 2017 World Rally Championship,
M-Sport’s new rally car will be significantly faster than the outgoing model
thanks to the sport’s dramatic regulation changes.
The model is
powered by an EcoBoost 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 380 hp and 450
Nm of torque. This potent engine is then mated to a new six-speed sequential
transmission with hydraulic shift runs, a multi-disc clutch and an active
center differential.
The new M-Sport Fiesta
WRC includes redesigned struts that are fully adjustable in bump and rebound as
well as improved ventilated disc brakes with four-piston monoblock calipers.
