2017 Renault Zoe EV (UK)
Renault published an extensive photo gallery of its
updated Zoe electric hatch, which may not be offered in the USA, but we'll see
it in Boston as an autonomous taxi.
The electric supermini might not bring any
significant exterior revisions apart from some new color choices and different
wheel patterns, but it promises to take its occupants further way on a single
charge, in the '40' trim.
The 2017 Renault Zoe uses a new battery pack, which
increases the total driving range up to 400 km on a single charge in the NEDC,
but the French are more down-to-earth when it comes to driving it in the real
world and state that it will do 300 km before needing to be plugged in again.
Depending on the market, the zero-emissions car
comes with standard 7-inch touchscreen, R-Link2 infotainment, TomTom satellite
navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity, climate control, leather-wrapped
steering wheel and gear lever, automatic headlights and wiper and several other
goodies. However, the Zoe can also be had with a premium Bose audio system,
heated front seats and rearview camera, but for an extra cost.
In the UK, the most affordable version of the
vehicle starts at £ 13,995 (US$ 17,415) after the Plug-in Car Grant.
