2017 Toyota Verso And Auris (UK)
The Verso and Auris have lined up with the rest of
the 2017 Toyota range in UK with additional features. Available in three grades
- Active, Icon, and Design, the 2017 Toyota Verso has been specified with
keyless entry and push-button start in the mid-range model, which also benefits
from new seat trim, rear door-sunshades, and rain-sensing windscreen pipers.
Taking the Design trim up a notch are the new
17-inch black alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, panoramic roof, part-leather
upholstery, and the latest Toyota Touch 2 with Go multimedia connectivity and
navigation system, which can be controlled by voice commands or a central
touchscreen. This version also comes with 3 years of free map updates.
The most important offering of the
range has also welcomed a 1.6-liter Valvematic petrol engine, with 130 PS and a six-speed manual transmission, which comes to complement the
1.8-liter and 1.6-liter D-4D diesel units, whose performance numbers remain
unchanged.
As for the Toyota Safety Sense suite of driver
assistive features, which includes Lane Departure Alert, Pre-Collision System
with Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking, and automatic
high-beam, this is offered at no extra cost on the Icon and Design, and it's
available as an option on the entry-level Active.
The British-built Toyota Auris has been also enhanced
for the 2017MY with the introduction of new 17-inch alloy wheels and Alcantara
trim inside on the Design models, while the Excel can be specified with leather
seats as a factory-fit option. Moreover, the cars can also be ordered with a
new exterior color, called Tokyo Red.
The 2017 Toyota
Auris also benefits from standard Safety Sense on all grades except for the
entry-level Active, and the features match those of the former as well, with
the addition of the Road Sign Assist.
