Brazil are already distributing the New Saveiro that brings visual facelift and more technological innovation. The New Saveiro will with new Volkswagen App-Connect
systems. The model also has three body options (single, extended and double)
and safety features such as ESC and ABS.
The New Saveiro brings higher bonnet than the previous connected with the
new headlights. The Volkswagen logo is allocated entirely out of the hood, allowing the line
that delineates the hood in fully horizontal.
The New
Saveiro has a new and modern panel. The new multifunction steering wheel gives more
refinement and sophistication. The instrument cluster is also completely new
and gained in white LED lighting. The new App-Connect system allows
smartphone mirroring the touch screen (touchscreen) with MirrorLink platforms,
Apple and Google Android Auto CarPlay. infotainment systems have color screens
high definition with 6.33 inches, which provide excellent viewing and
interactivity, in addition to text messages read from mobile phone through the
speakers.
New Saveiro
Cross, offered in extended and double cabs, is equipped with MSI 1.6 engine. The new engine has four cylinders and 16 valves and uses the cold start
system that eliminates the auxiliary tank for gasoline. With Total Flex technology, the new
engine can run on gasoline, ethanol or a mixture of both fuels in any
proportion. Its maximum power is 120 hp at 5,750 rpm when fueled with ethanol
(E100) and 110 hp at the same speed, with gasoline (E22). The maximum torque is
16.8 Kgm with ethanol and 15.8 Kgm gasoline, both at 4,000 rpm.
The Robust, Trendline and Highline
versions come equipped with dedicated engine 1.6 Total Flex, up to 104 hp
(ethanol). The engine 1.6 Total Flex is known for its ruggedness and energy
efficiency. When supplied with ethanol (E100), 1.6l engine power is 104 hp at
5250 rpm and the torque is 153 Nm at 2,500 rpm. When fueled with gasoline
(E22), the power is 101 hp at 5,250 rpm and torque is 151 Nm at 2,500 rpm.
The New Saveiro Robust is available in single cab and brings bucket
protector series, driver's seat with height adjustment, upshift indicator,
sunshade with mirror for driver and passenger, bar to support load on the roof
and 15-inch steel wheels with 205/60 R15 tires, among other items.
In addition
to the ESC, the New Saveiro has the ASR (Traction Control) which helps the driver to start or accelerate the vehicle on a low adhesion
surface and EDS (electronic differential lock) drives the wheel brake with less
traction, providing better efficiency outside the vehicle floors low adherence.
Also, the HHC is the starting assistance control ramp and the HDC is the
descent control, which at low speed, applies the brakes automatically, with
more security and control.
