Bajaj V15 in
Wine Red
Bajaj Auto
has introduced a new Cocktail Wine Red color for the Bajaj V15, which was
previously only available in white and black. No other changes have been
announced thus far.
Priced at INR
61,999, (ex-Showroom, New Delhi), the Bajaj V15 is the company’s fourth product
in the 150 cc range, after the Bajaj Pulsar 150, Bajaj Discover 150 and the
Bajaj Avenger 150 Street.
Bajaj is also
mulling over exporting the V15 to markets where the Indian bike manufacturer
has presence, such as Africa, Latin America, west Asia, and Turkey this
financial year. They are reported to increase production to 1,000 units/day,
and are hoping to sell 50,000 V15s in the next 18 months.
The Bajaj V15
is powered by a 149.5 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with DTS-i
technology, which produces 11.8 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 13 Nm of peak torque at
5,500 rpm and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
