Bentley Mulsanne Bamford X
This is the Bentley Mulsanne Bamford X. Luxury sedan, put together by Mulliner, for a watchmaker named George Bamford.
The inspiration behind the Bamford X’s dark design
is drawn from the traditionally dark colour schemes used on Bamford’s watch
designs. “Mile-deep Beluga black” is the official colour, mimicking the
watchmaker’s signature hue, which is achieved through a complex “military grade
titanium coating and graphite particle coating” processes.
Exterior trim pieces, such as the grille and foglamp
bezels, have been put through a “physical vapour deposition” treatment,
transforming them from the standard polished stainless steel finish to a far
darker hue. The cabin also inherits this dark theme, but bright blue detailing
is added to offset the black upholstery.Rounding off the intimidatingly dark
appearance are a set of 21-inch alloys and tinted windows.
No mechanical changes, which means it still employs a twin-turbo 6,75-litre V8 that sends
544 Hp and 1100 Nm to the rear wheels, lending it a 0-100 km/h time of 4,9
seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h.
