Maruti Baleno DualJet SHVS
Overdrive has acquired spyshots of an export-spec Maruti Baleno Dualjet
SHVS testing on Indian soil, which is not confirmed to launch in India.
The reason could be attributed to the 1.25L (1,242 cc) Dualjet engine,
which does not conform to the government’s sub-4m tax incentive, thus placing
it at a higher tax bracket. In export-spec, the Baleno 1.25 SHVS produces 90 PS
and 120 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
