Mercedes-AMG GT by Luethen Motorsport
The latest tuner to get its mitts on the
Mercedes-AMG GT is German company Luethen Motorsport. As with most before it,
the brand has modified the car on a number of fronts, from aesthetics and
aerodynamics to its engine.
The body kit is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber and includes a fixed rear wing,
aggressive front splitter with small winglets, side skirts and a new diffuser.
These elements don’t just add presence to the car but also downforce, promising
to make it even more capable on a racetrack. Completing the upgrades are forged
wheels available in 20-inch and 21-inch sizes as well as sports springs that
marginally lower the ride height.
Luethen have fitted the
twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with a custom ECU that increases power from the 503 HP
of the AMG GT S up to 612 hp and 780 Nm of torque. Additionally, the top speed
limiter has been removed, allowing the model to accelerate through to 330 km/h.
