Testing and development don't stop just because a
given model has been unveiled. Case in point: the new Ford Super Duty pictured
here.
In these latest reader-submitted spy shots, you can
see the new professional-grade F-Series undergoing testing in the Rocky
Mountains of Colorado. Given that the model in question has already been seen in full,
Ford could do without any camo for this round of testing – which also tells us
it's not presently working on any further (visual) upgrades.
Nor should it have to: though pickup truck sales are
declining at present, the Ford F-Series remains the undisputed market leader,
far outselling the Ram trucks (spied testing with new Cummins diesel power at
the same location) and even the combined tally of the Chevy Silverado and GMC
Sierra twins – never mind the “imports” (including those made in America by
foreign automakers).
