Volta e-bike
In order to develop two-wheeled electric vehicles, Auteco and Volta
Motorbikes make an alliance that will put the batteries to electric mobility in
Colombia. Volta is a Spanish company based in Barcelona and Figueres and is
dedicated to designing, producing and selling high-end but sustainable mobility
motorcycles.
Following this announcement, a
select group of customers will be able to purchase the first bikes with a
special price, so they will be part of a beta-test that will constantly feed
the two brands on the impressions of their vehicles.
For now there are three models available from February 2017, Volta
Sport, which is a street bike with a top speed of 120 km/h, three modes of
operation, autonomy of about 50 km, charging time of 2 hours \, Disc brakes,
band transmission and remote diagnostics, among others.
Volta Forest is a dual purpose with a top speed of 105 km/h,
standard disc brakes, chain transmission, telephone connectivity and remote
diagnostics. Volta City is also a street with performances very similar to
those of the other two models. The Volta bikes are easy to handle, have storage
space, novel designs, connectivity with smart phones and lots of personality
