Ford India has announced the Ford EcoSport
Platinum Edition with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite
navigation and rear view camera. It features a dual tone look with a black roof, 17-inch new
alloy wheels with wider tires, and appliques on the front and rear bumper.
The EcoSport gets cruise
control, and the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that allows users to
control music and video playback, features Satellite Navigation system, as well
as a rearview camera. Six airbags are standard on the Platinum edition.
The EcoSport Platinum comes in two powertrains – the
1.5L diesel engine with 100 PS and 22.27 km/l mileage and the 1.0L
EcoBoost petrol engine that delivers 125 PS of power and a fuel efficiency of
18.88 km/l. The EcoSport Platinum Edition is priced at INR 10.39 lakh
(Ex-Showroom, Delhi) for petrol variant while INR 10.69 lakh (Ex-Showroom,
Delhi) for the diesel engine variant.
The Platinum Edition introduces several upgrades
that accentuate EcoSport’s bold design, enhance customer convenience and
improve the driving dynamics of our compact SUV.
