Maruti Suzuki WagonR will now come with a new top-of-the-line VXI+ variant. Available in both manual and Auto Gear Shift (AGS) options, the new WagonR VXI+ comes in a total of four iterations - VXI+, VXI+ (O), VXI+ AGS, VXI+ (O) AGS. And Maruti Suzuki has priced the VXI+ iterations in the range of RS. 4.69 lakh to Rs. 5.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

While previous reports suggested that the car will be called WagonR Minor, the company seems to have dropped that idea and has simply added the model as a top-variant. The car still looks like an updated version of the Stingray, which was introduced as a premium version of the WagonR in the first place.

The new Maruti Suzuki WagonR VXI+ comes with improved styling and host of new features, which includes - a stylish chrome design element at the centre flanked by wraparound projector headlamps that together give the impression of one single element. The new larger front bumper looks well-designed and houses the 4-slat hexagonal grille and round foglamps encased in plastic claddings.
