Maruti Suzuki has begun dispatching the Maruti Wagon
R ‘Refresh’ and sent the price list, and product info to dealerships, a letter
of which was acquired by a Team-BHP reader. It is priced at INR 4.14 Lakhs –
5.37 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
It will come
in three grades LXI, VXI and VXI+, and dual airbags+ABS will be optional across
the range. It’s unclear if the current Wagon R will be retained or discontinued
from the market.
The Maruti Wagon R Refresh’s cabin has a dual-tone
beige and black dashboard with gloss black accents instead of retaining the
Stingray’s all-black layout with silver inserts, along with beige fabric
upholstery for the seats and door cards. As standard, it features day-night
IRVM, central locking, front power windows, and adjustable headrests.
The Wagon R is powered by the same
1.0-liter K-Series petrol engine that generates 68 PS and 90 Nm of torque.
Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox or 5-speed AGS (VXI and
VXI+).
The Wagon R is available with the option of a
factory fitted CNG Kit (LXI only).
